Central Expressway Pallewela Bypass road

Our team was tasked with finding a way to help the public understand the design of the intersection where the Pallewela road and Central Expressway cross. Many people were having difficulty understanding the current design and were hesitant to proceed with construction. We explored different options and found that creating a 3D presentation of the area would be the most effective solution.

To do this, we conducted a drone survey to obtain accurate real-world data. Using this data, we created a complete and precise three-dimensional design of the intersection. This design was created by the Road Development Authority and was tailored to be easily understood by the general public.

Our 3D presentation is now available for public viewing and has received positive feedback. We hope that this project, which utilized drone technology for data collection, will help people better understand the design of the intersection and make it easier for them to visualize how it will look once construction is complete.
